The Messianic Church of God

VISION & MISSION

VISION

The Messianic Church of God has been called to spread the good news Gospel that all might participate in the Messianic rebirth of the world. Through the Word of God and the clarity and simplicity of the Holy Ghost, we desire that all men who come in contact with the good news Gospel will be saved from eternal death and enter into eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord and personal Saviour. (Matthew 19:28; Romans 1:16)

We invite you to join us as we explore God’s hope of glory, Christ Jesus within us. (Colossians 1:26-27) The Apostle Fraser has been exploring this mystery for over fifteen years. He was sent out after a decade from his initial calling to teach others about God’s plans for their lives.(Ephesians 3:9-10) It was on this account that The Messianic Church of God was founded in the year 2000 to be a place where people can come to worship and learn about God’s thoughts and plans for their lives. (Jeremiah 29:11)

MISSION

Our mission is to do nothing of our own accord, nothing independently of God but only as we are taught; and to judge justly only as we hear because we seek not our own will and pleasure but the Father’s who sent us. (John 5:30)

Our mission is to be a people filled with the Spirit of God and led by the Spirit of God. By watching and obeying His orders and suggestions, whatsoever we ask from Him, we will receive. (1 John 3:22)

Our mission is to be committed to love, affection and goodwill and benevolence that edifies and builds up and encourages one to grow to his full stature. (1 Corinthians 8:1)

FAITH STATEMENT

All the words of Scripture in the Bible, as originally given, were inspired by God.

(II Timothy 3:16; I Corinthians 2:13; II Peter 1:20-21)

There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

(I Corinthians 8:5-6; Colossians 2:9-10; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Christ Jesus is God and became flesh. He had full access to both human and divine potentials but the divine side always superseded. His miracles, signs and wonderworks testify to His divinity.

(John 1:1-2; Colossians 2:9; John 1:14; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 2:14; John 3:2; Luke 11:34-36)

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Savior of man, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures in the Bible. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

(I Peter 3:18; Luke 24:50-51; Hebrews 1:3; 4:15-16; I John 2:1; Luke 1:26-37; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6)

Jesus Christ, though sinless, died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day, personally appearing to his disciples.

(II Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; I Peter 2:22; I Corinthians 15:1-8; Romans 4:25)

Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

(I Peter 1:23; Genesis 1:26; Romans 3:10-12; Romans 9:16)

The salvation of sinners is by grace through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins.

(Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12,22; Romans 5:11)

Water baptism is for the believer in order to fulfill the command of Christ.

(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:37-41; Acts 19:1-6)

God gives all believers spiritual gifts. The operation of the gifts of the Spirit as manifested in the early church are active and relevant today.

(I Corinthians 12:1-14; Romans 12:5-8)

Man is called to be sanctified to live a Spirit-filled life and to develop godly character in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith.

(Ephesians 5:18; II Corinthians 6:14; II Corinthians 7:1; Psalm 111:9-10; Psalm 2:10-12)

Our Lord left instruction to break bread, commonly called communion or the Lord’s Supper, for believers.

(I Corinthians 11:24-34)

Jesus will return and take all those who have accepted Him as savior and are committed to the Messianic rebirth to heaven for all eternity.

(Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Hebrews 9:28)
